Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 1-year-old girl who was abducted today in the south suburb of Dolton.
The Amber Alert was issued by the Illinois State Police. Authorities said Paris Heller was abducted by a woman on the 200 block of East 141st Street at 11:30 a.m.
The child is described as black, 24 pounds, with a scar on the right side of her neck and having pierced ears. She was wearing a pink, white and black dress and was barefoot.
The female suspect is described as black, 19 years old, 4-feet-8, 90 pounds, with black hair in a mohawk and brown eyes. She was wearing a pink shirt with black roses, black jeans with gold zippers on the sides and black flip flops.
The suspect was driving a black 1993 Oldsmobile 98 with Indiana temporary tags and is possible headed to St. Louis, Mo. or Minnesota, the alert said.
