Amber Alert Cancelled for 17-year Old Nevada Girl

A 17-year-old girl, who was abducted from her home in the town of Henderson by two men, has been found unharmed. The abductors were asking for $150,000 ransom. There is no word on arrests.

Two suspects approached the house in the area of Warm Springs Road and Arroyo Grande Boulevard Friday about 7:30 a.m. and knocked on the door. When Melissa Duran opened the door, she was abducted by the men. A ransom demand was later made in a phone call to MelissaÂ?s parents. AMBER Alert is still in effect in Southern Nevada. Lie: Barack Obama began his presidency "with an apology tour."

Truth: A review of Obama’s foreign travels and remarks during his early presidency showed no

           evidence to support such a blunt and disparaging claim. While Obama's speeches contained

           some criticisms of past U.S. actions, he typically combined those passages with praise for the

           United States and its ideals, and he frequently mentioned how other countries had erred as

           well. There is not a single, full-throated apology in the bunch. Calling those remarks "an

           apology tour" is a ridiculous charge.

Truth: The law never required all welfare recipients to work. Only 29 percent of those receiving cash

           assistance met the work requirement by the time President Obama took office.

           Under the new policy, states can now seek a federal waiver from work-participation rules that,

           among other things, require welfare recipients to engage in one of 12 specific “work

           activities,” such as job training. But, in exchange, states must develop a plan that would

           provide a “more efficient or effective means to promote employment,” which may or may not

           include some or all of the same work activities. States also must submit an “evaluation plan”

           that includes “performance measures” that must be met — or the waiver could be revoked.

"The New Normal", a new gay-themed sitcom, will not be aired by NBC affiliate KSL in Salt Lake City. KSL, owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, once again has decided what I should not watch. Shame on you KSL. I know how to set parental controls on my television. I know how to change channels if I don't want to watch a program. I don't need you to decide what I can or cannot watch. Because of your censorship, I will no longer watch your television programming. I have written Jay Leno to let him know I will no longer view his show because of your prejudiced and bigoted decision. I have notified NBC that I will no longer watch any of their programming because of your decision.

2-Year old St. Joseph Michigan Girl Found In Chicago

2-year old Chloe West, who was abducted by her mother in St. Joseph, Michigan, has been found safe in Chicago. Thr child's mother took the girl during a supervised visit. Thr mother is awaiting extradition to Michigan to face kidnapping charges.

The St. Joseph Police Department is investigating an incident of an endangered missing child, Chloe West, who was taken from her residence in the city of St. Joseph, Michigan. Chloe West was taken by her mother, Lisa West. Lisa West had her parental rights terminated. Chloe West is believed to be in extreme danger. Lisa West is believed to have left a city residence on foot.
