The Amber Alert for two South Carolina girls has been canceled, even though the girls have not been returned. Police have determined that the girls' aunt willingly gave the girls to their mother. Authorities believe the girls are with their mother and grandmother in another state. The aunt will be charged with filing a false police report.
The children had been placed in foster care by the state Department of Social Services, but that they were staying the night with their aunt.
