An AMBER Alert has been activated throughout San Luis Obispo County for a 4 year old boy who was taken from Echo Shelter (First Baptist Church) in the City of Atascadero . The victim's mother and the suspect are transients of Echo Shelter. The victim's mother and the suspect were involved in an altercation on the evening of August 4, 2011. On August 5, 2011, at approximately 0430 hours, the suspect abducted the victim and fled the shelter. There is no known vehicle associated with the suspect.
